The position belongs to a well-established Nordic energy producer focused on robust and fossil-free power generation. The business plays an important role in the Nordic energy system and is characterized by long-term thinking, safety, and technical expertise.

As a technical specialist, you will work on investment projects related to the modernization and further development of existing hydropower plants across Sweden. You will contribute technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle – from feasibility studies and design to commissioning and follow-up.

The role is broad and combines technical depth with coordination and review. You will work closely with project managers, other technical specialists, and suppliers, where your responsibility is to ensure that technical solutions meet requirements, standards, and connection codes. With experience and interest, there is also an opportunity to drive your own sub-projects or development initiatives related to working methods, technology, or support services.

The projects vary in size and complexity – from smaller upgrades in electrical and automation to multi-year investments where entire power plant components are modernized. The work is carried out in close collaboration with an established technical competence network where knowledge exchange and joint development are a natural part of everyday life.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field

• Several years of work experience as a technical specialist, designer, operator, or technical project manager

• Experience in electrical and/or automation fields

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience in simulation, commissioning, and compliance testing is advantageous, as well as a background from larger technical facilities or industrial investment projects. The role suits you if you have a broad technical perspective and thrive in a reviewing and advisory role.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Extent: Full-time, permanent
